Women-in-Science Network Medicine Münster launched

The newly founded network Women-in-Science Network Medicine Münster is an initiative of the DFG third-party funded associations, the CiM Interfaculty Centre and the IZKF Münster to foster activities that promote equal opportunities in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Office and the Dean's Office of the Medical Faculty.

The main goal of the Women-in-Science Network Medicine Münster is to arouse and encourage enthusiasm for an academic career in medicine among women in the medical faculty. "We structurally support women in medical research not to lose sight of the goal of their academic career from doctorate to professorship," explains Dr. Sabine Blass-Kampmann, spokesperson for WiSNetMed. The women's research network WiSNetMed was initiated along with professors and coordinators the local research associations, including the Vice Dean for Equal Opportunities Prof. Petra Scheutzel and the Vice Dean for Research of the Faculty, Prof. Luisa Klotz.

The kick-off event will take place on the Campus of the Medical Faculty on October 29, 2021. Kindly register online by 15 October, 2021.
