The Faculty of Medicine has been presenting the "Paper of the Month Award" since 2017. With this award, the excellent work done by the scientists is highlighted and recognised. The current "Paper of the Month" (10/2022) goes to Prof. Ursula Rescher, Institute of Medical Biochemistry, ZMBE Dr. Linda Brunotte and Prof. Stephan Ludwig, Institute of Virology, ZMBE for the publication "3D Ex vivo tissue platforms to investigate the early phases of influenza a virus- and SARS-CoV-2-induced respiratory diseases" that appeared in Emerg Microbes Infect 2022 Dec;11(1):2160-2175.
