The Faculty of Medicine has awarded the "Paper of the Month Award" since 2017. This award honours the excellent research of the scientists.

The current "Paper of the Month" (07/2021) goes to Dr. Michael Heming and colleagues (shared first authorship) from the Institute for Translational Neurology. The SEED group leader Dr. Heming is one of the first authors and the IZKF principal investigator PD Dr. Meyer zu Hörste is the last author of the publication "Single-cell profiling of CNS border compartment leukocytes reveals that B cells and their progenitors reside in non-diseased meninges" published in Nature Neuroscience (2021) doi: 10.1038 / s41593-021-00880-y (Online ahead of print). ABSTRACT funded by the IZKF Münster in the projects SEED /016/11/10 (Dr. Michael Heming) and MzH3/ 20/20 (PD Dr. Meyer zu Hörste and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Tim Hahn).
