The Faculty of Medicine has awarded the "Paper of the Month Award" since 2017. This award honours the excellent reserch of the scientists.

The current "Paper of the Month" (03/2019) goes to Prof. Dr. Frank Rosenbauer from theInstitute of Molecular Tumor Biology. Professor Rosenbauers is theseniorauthor of the publication "Safeguardfunction of PU.1shapes the inflammatoryepigenome of neutrophils". https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30911105Abstractpublished in Nature Immunology 2019, Mar 25 [EPub ahead of print]. This study was co-financed by the IZKF Münster in the project Ros2/007/15 awarded to Prof. F. Rosenbauer, along with other external peer-reviewed funding organisations.
