DFG extends Münster Collaborative Research Centre - Breaking Barriers- for the third phase from 2020-2024

The German Research Foundation (DFG) will fund the Collaborative Research Centre CRC-1009 in the next four years with ten million euros. "We were dealing with a very medically relevant topic, since chronic inflammation, especially infectious diseases, allergies, autoimmune or rheumatic diseases are an important field in the health care of our society," said Prof. Dr. Johannes Roth, spokesperson for the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) and head of the Institute of Immunology. With this commitment, the project entitledBreaking Barriersachieves the maximum possible funding period of twelve years.
