We want to support you in your role as a clinician scientist! Our CareerS programme is open to candidates working on any research topic in any clinical discipline. The programme offers different modules tailored to specific career stages.

Student: Get involved in research during your medical studies

Starter: Support in your early-career research during your clinical specialisation training (application deadline 1 March/1 September)

Boost: A “career booster” for advanced scientific qualifications during your clinical specialisation training (application deadline 1 March/1 September)

Group: Funding to set up your own research group in parallel to your clinical work (application deadline 1 March)

Professor: Tenure-track options for combining research and clinical work in the long term

Our career support modules are designed to enable you to flexibly combine scientific and clinical work. Funding should also help you apply successfully for grants from other internal faculty and external programmes.
