Curriculum vitae

I studied biomedical engineering and material science at the Technical University of Lodz. During the studies I spent 6 months at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft des Saarlandes. My master thesis was focused on the investigation of selected properties of MAX phases in the nanoscale.

In June 2021 I joined Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions - Innovative Training Network called “Phys2BioMed: Biomechanics in health and disease”. My project supervised by Prof. Hermann Schillers aimed to develop a method to quantify cellular mechano-response.

Since 2023 I am working in Prof. Albrecht Schwab’s group as a PhD student. It is realised within the Research Training Group Chembion (Chemical Biology of Ion Channels). My doctoral research focuses on the role of KCa3.1 channels for cellular mechanics and their influence on the processes underlying the metastatic cascade of non-small cell lung cancer cells.
