Our current research projects include:

  1. Development of novel fluorescence tracers for in vivo imaging
  2. Molecular imaging of endothelin receptors in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis
  3. Tumor immunology
  4. Evaluation of the albumin-binding contrast agent gadofosveset for imaging tumor endothelial permeability
  5. Investigation of endothelial permeability using novel BODIPY nanostructures
  6. Cell tracking using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

The research group is primarily funded through intramural resources and third-party funded projects, including grants acquired from the German Research Foundation (DFG).
