Welcome to the homepage of the “Translational Radiology” research group. We focus on imaging techniques for the detection and characterization of tumor and inflammatory diseases. To this end, we develop and establish cell labeling strategies and disease-specific contrast agents for experimental and clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as optical (Fluorescence Reflectance Imaging) and optoacoustic imaging modalities.
