The Centre of Medical Genetics (CMG) is a relatively young institution, supported by both the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Münster and the University Hospital Münster (UKM) . The Centre consists of four key units: the Department of Medical Genetics, the Institute of Reproductive Genetics, Genetic Epidemiology, and the Core Facility Genomics.
Our mission is to create the ideal integration of patient care and research. The goal is to provide optimal medical care while simultaneously establishing a leading position in the rapidly evolving field of genetics.
