The Faculty of Medicine has awarded the "Paper of the Month Award" since 2017. This award honours the excellent reserch of the scientists.

The current "Paper of the Month" (11/2018) goes to Prof. Dr. med. Frank Rutsch from the Department of General Pediatrics. Professor Rutsch is last author of the publication Nitschke Y et al. ENPP1-Fc prevents neotima formation in generalized arterial calcification of infancy through the generation of AMP published in Experimental Molecular Medicine 2018; Oct 29;50(10):139. This study was co-financed by the IZKF Münster in the project Ru3/006/13 along with other external peer-reviewed funding organisations.
