MOMENDO consortium members participate successfully in Endometriosis World Congress
The World Endometriosis Society (WES) advances evidence-based standards and innovations for education, clinical care and research to improve the lives of affected women. At the triennial Endometriosis World Congress, well-known experts as well as younger scientists meet to discuss various aspects of the disease in great depth. Among the experts and researchers are several members of the MOMENDO consortium: This year, Andrew Horne, Erin Greaves (both University of Edinburgh), Ludwig Kiesel, Mohamed Ibrahim (both Münster University Hospital) and Sylvia Mechsner (Charité, Berlin) gave talks. Erin Greaves won the top prize for a non-clinical presentation, the David Healy Prize - a fitting reward for her excellent talk. Furthermore, Sakthi Ponandai-Srinivasan from Karolinska Institute (Stockholm) presented a poster. The World Congress in 2023 will be presided over by Professor Andrew Horne of the University of Edinburgh. He will be working with UK-wide colleagues from the UK Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Network.
