The Medical Faculty (MFM) of the University of Münster condemns the Russian attack on Ukraine. The University of Münster is open to the world and is committed to peaceful dialogue – its solidarity in these difficult times goes out to the Ukrainian population.
The Medical Faculty has suspended its research projects with Russian partners until further notice; the same applies to the exchange of students and scholars to and from Russia.

In the course of the war, the DFG has suspended the participation of Russian partners in projects and proposals funded by the DFG. Information from the DFG regarding German-Russian applications and ongoing collaborative projects can be found at this LINK.
Furthermore, the committee "Ombudsman for Science" (established by the DFG) has issued a statement regarding publication projects with scientists in Russia from the perspective of good scientific practice. You can find it at the following LINK (In German).

Support for research stays of early-career researchers from the Medical Faculty in external laboratories in Germany and abroad; "Innovative Medical Research" (IMF) program - Clinician-Scientist-Programm
Flexible and protected research time for medical doctors, project funding to realize independent research projects, and the combination of a clinical and scientific career - International PhD Studies at the University of Münster
Scholarships for research rotations abroad, participation in international conferences, and "introductory scholarships" for international PhD candidates; program of the University of Münster for doctoral students - Internationalisation Fund
Funding for strategic partnerships, visiting scholars, international conferences at the University of Münster, as well as training programs; coordinated by the University of Münster and funded by the Medical Faculty.

Applications for the Internationalisation Fund can now be submitted twice a year:
October 15th (main application round for activities already planned for the following year)
March 15th (supplementary application round for activities in the current year)
