Curriculum vitae I studied molecular biotechnology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. During my studies, I completed an internship at the University of Münster. For my master’s thesis, I investigated the impact of nicotine and its derivatives on pancreatic stellate cells, with a particular focus on the calcium channel TRPA1. Since 2025, I have been working as a PhD student in the group of Prof. Albrecht Schwab. Under the supervision of Dr. Zoltán Pethö and Prof. Albrecht Schwab, my research focuses on modulating ion homeostasis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, with the aim of identifying opportunities for drug repurposing.
