The creation of an XY-coord. file containing a set of images and boxes (regions of interest, ROIs) is the initial step for mass determination. The MASDET program can view and edit XY-coord. boxes in a simple way.Possibilities for viewing/editing:
Display images and boxes from selected layers
Change values for image display and colormaps, image filters
Create, display, and delete boxes for different program modes
Two types of boxes: square and circular
Distribution of boxes to 9 different layers defined by various colours and names (legends) editable by user
Basic measurements (e.g., distance)
Save information about the images and boxes as a text file
