The Medical Faculty provides targeted support for the establishment of collaborative research initiatives through an additional bonus payment. All members of the Medical Faculty are eligible to apply.

The "Topical Programs" funding line supports the initiation of new collaborative research projects, enabling the identification of future research priorities and strengthening networking among researchers – both nationally and internationally.
The "Topical Programs" call has been continuously open since 1 June 2021, allowing proposals to be submitted at any time. In addition to workshops, further formats and concepts are now eligible for funding.
