The Commission for Equality and Diversity of Faculty of Medicine, its elected Equal Opportunities Officer, her deputy officers, and the Diversity Officer of the Medical Faculty work to uphold and strengthen this principle.

In doing so, they are particularly committed to:

• Promoting and further developing a gender-equitable infrastructure at the Medical Faculty,
• Supporting and promoting the next generation of female academics in medicine. This includes supporting mentoring and training programs and expanding needs-based childcare for students and female academic staff. In particular, we are also committed to networking all female researchers at the Medical Faculty, to which WisNet Medicine Münster intends to contribute.
• Supporting and integrating diverse perspectives and people, with a focus on the gender dimension in identity and orientation.
