This section provides information on the committees of the Medical Faculty.

The Faculty Council is a committee that discusses and makes decisions on the very fundamental questions and issues concerning the Medical Faculty. In addition there are other committees that focus on more specific topics (e.g. nominations or gender equality) and often prepare the decisions made by the Faculty Council. 

Apart from the standing commissions, ad hoc commissions are formed as needed, for example, in the context of appointment and habilitation procedures.
