The Deanery is the central management and administration authority of the Medical Faculty, which is Faculty 5 of the University of Münster. The Deanery is responsible for the structural development of the Faculty and for the appointment of professors. It realizes the orders of the different committees, e. g. of the Faculty Council, and is responsible for promotions and Habilitations (postdoctoral lecture qualifications) as well as financial and personal matters.
