10th SiCA Social Program
Nov. 12, 6:30-11 pm

The conference dinner will be held at the Burg Hülshoff castle. This typical Westfalian castle was documented as early as the 11th century. The mansion built in 1540 in the Renaissance style and was the birthplace of the famous Westfalian poetess Annette von Droste-Hülshoff (1797-1848). It is maintained as a tourist attraction today.

Burg Hülshoff is located west of Münster about halfway between Münster-Roxel and Havixbeck on the Havixbecker-Strasse. A bus will be provided to take the conference participants to the dinner location.

On arrival, the participants will be welcomed by a costumed guide who will give a guided tour of the property and provide some background information on the life of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. A traditional Westfalian menu will then be served.

The registration fee for the event is 5 €.

Bus transportation is provided. The bus will leave at 17:45 pm in front of the venue.
