Library Preparation

Preparation of sequencing libraries for Illumina sequencing systems such as the NextSeq 2000 can be carried out using different technologies i.e sample prep kits for mRNA enriched or rRNA depleted RNA sequencing or (custom) target enrichment strategies for resequencing projects. Sample requirements for different library preparation methods are outlined under Downloads

In addition to standard library preparation applications such as bulkRNA-seq (mRNA enriched, rRNA depleted or small RNA-seq), we also offer a variety of advanced sequencing preparations, including ATAC-seq, RIP-seq, ChIP-seq or single-cell-seq applications such as Parse Bioscience. These methods are available to meet the specific needs of diverse research projects, ensuring high-quality results across a range of applications. Our Core Facility runs several devices required for the preparation of high-quality sequencing libraries like a NanoPhotometer®, a Qubit, an Agilent Bioanalyzer automated electrophoresis system or the Agilent TapeStation for higher sample throughput.
