CRU326/Repro.MS seminar 'Environmental Sustainability in the Lab' with Dr. Kerstin Hermuth-Kleinschmidt

Lab work is resource-intensive - a -80°C freezer consumes as much energy as a single-family home alone, and labs already generated nearly 2% of global plastic waste in 2014! Change seems difficult -80°C freezers cannot be turned off, and it is not easy to replace the many plastic consumables used in the lab.

Do you want to learn how to build a sustainable lab despite these challenges? Are you keen to know what you can do to reduce your own resource consumption?

But you’ve missed our seminar 'Environmental Sustainability in the Lab' with guest-speaker Dr. Kerstin Hermuth-Kleinschmidt, founder of the 'NIUB-Nachhaltigkeitsberatung'?
