Frank Tüttelmann talks about genetic causes of infertility on University podcast

The causes of infertility are manifold. As guest on the WWU Podcast, CRU Research Coordinator Frank Tüttelmann focused primarily on the genetic causes for involuntary childlessness. A look at the statistics reveals: Infertility is a mass phenomenon. In Germany, for about one in seven couples, the wish of having their own child remains unfulfilled. However, several challenges remain with regard to reproductive research, as Frank explains: In Germany, research is strictly regulated by the Embryo Protection Act, which has not been reformed for over 30 years.
