Seminar Machine Learning in Biomedicine

The growing amount of biomedical data, such as genome sequences and medical images, opens up new opportunities for research and personalized medicine. Machine learning is a key tool for recognizing patterns in complex data and making clinically relevant predictions.

In this seminar, participants will gain an overview of current methods and applications of machine learning in biomedicine. Topics covered include classification and regression methods and deep learning.

Students will work on a current research topic, summarize it in a written paper, and present their findings in a lecture. The seminar is aimed at master's students in computer science, mathematics, or related subjects. No prior knowledge of medicine is required.
