Welcome to the Institute of Anatomy I

Institute of Anatomy and Molecular Neurobiology

We would like to introduce to you our Institute and our contributions to basic research and teaching within the Medical School and University programs. Research at the Institute addresses current biomedical problems, predominantly from the fields of molecular neurobiology. Using a broad range of modern molecular and morphological techniques, several groups explore aspects of synapse function and their putative role in important human diseases.
Our strong commitment to teaching includes courses for students of Medicine and Dentistry, and lectures to undergraduates of Pharmacy. We cover all aspects of Human Anatomy, including Gross Anatomy, Histology, Embryology and Clinical Anatomy.
