TRENDO session raised interest on SEUD 2025 Prague

Leading scientists in the field of endometriosis met in Prague (24 - 26 April, 2025) for the annual SEUD congress. The theme of this year’s congress is: “From Adolescence to Menopause: Modern Management of Endometriosis and Uterine Diseases“. As in previous years, TRENDO represented the EU with its advanced approaches, such as the 3D modelling (Martin Götte, Münster) and newly discovered biomarkers (Tea Lanisnik-Rizner, Ljubljana). Invited speakers Sylvia Mechsner (Berlin), and Attila Bokor (Budapest) added interesting clinical aspects to the well-attended session.

The topics of the talks were:
• Modeling endometriosis in the laboratory – 3D cell culture systems – Martin Götte
• Transcriptomic and metabolomic biomarker discovery – Tea Lanisnik-Rizner
• Gastrointestinal function after colorectal resection for deep endometrioisis – Attila Bokor
• Endometriosis and pain – Sylvia Mechsner
