The Ketzerei Trial is an international, multicenter randomized controlled trial (RCT) investigating whether "less is more" when it comes to continuous renal replacement therapy dosing for patients with severe acute kidney injury (AKI). A wide variety of endpoints from patient centric to economic are evaluated by means of an equally wide variety of statistical methods: non-parametrics tests, resampling methods and competing risk analysis.
