Starting a family leads to the interruption of promising careers of highly talented young female scientists, especially in Germany.
With the help of the Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation and the financial support of the UNESCO-L'Oréal funding programme, young female researchers can make the most of their scientific potential. In addition, the compatibility of career and family is strengthened at the scholarship holder's respective research institution.
