PARASOL – Clinical trial in patients with geographic atrophy
Do you know of any suitable patients who might be eligible to take part in this clinical trial for geographic atrophy?
Key eligibility criteria for the trial:
- > 60 years of age
- No foveal involvement in the geographic atrophy
- General interest in taking part in the trial
Trial procedure:
- Single injection of gene therapy (and corticosteroid injection) or placebo treatment
- Follow-up phase (10 appointments, duration approx. 19 months; from month 3 onwards, appointments only every 3 months)
