WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE EXPERIMENTAL MAGNETIC RESEARCH GROUP!

>>>>>> PUSHING THE LIMITS OF MRI >>>>>

The research group for Experimental Magnetic Resonance develops and implements novel MR techniques that extend the limits of MRI with respect to spatial and temporal resolution, as well as sensitivity and specificity for physiological, structural, and molecular changes in the organism.

We are a young team of about 15 people from various disciplines, dedicated to the progress of magnetic resonance techniques and their application in biomedical research and clinical diagnostic. The team includes two postdoctoral staff scientists, six PhD students, three technicians and usually between two and five master and MD students.

Decommissioning of our old BioSpec

With a heavy heart we have decommissioned our old BioSpec after more than 15 year of imaging and spectroscopy at the highest level. The system has contributed to more than 150 scientific articles, 50 academic theses, and numerous conference abstracts.

We are part of the Clinic for Radiology in the Multiscale Imaging Center (MIC)
