High-throughput sequencing (high throughput sequencing, HTS) wins in medicine is becoming increasingly important, it is in the fundamental biological research or in personalized medicine. HTS allows the analysis of millions of DNA sequences in a shorter time and to steadily declining costs.
This course introduces skills for handling, analysis and interpretation of sequence data. In particular, we cover the following topics:
The internship consists of a theoretical part and practical exercises on the PC, but requires no prior knowledge in computer science. The exercises will take place on computers in our training room.
