Personalized therapy for treating depression

The goal of personalized medicine is to make use of individual information to find the best treatment for every patient.
In cooperation with the Clinic for Mental Health we study the success of different therapies for treating depression.
We analyze patients' genome, epigenome and transcriptome combined with clinical phenotypes in regards to therapy response.
Our aim is to identify the factors that have the most impact on therapy response. Furthermore, we want to create models that allow us to predict the effect of therapies for future patients and in this way choose the best treatment for them.
