Prof. Dominik Heider Elected to GMDS Expert Committee

Prof. Heider has been elected as a member of the Expert Committee for "Medical Bioinformatics and Systems Biology" of the German Society for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS). In this role, he will take on a significant responsibility within one of the central scientific societies for medical informatics, biometry, and epidemiology in Germany.
The Expert Committee focuses on questions at the intersection of computer science, biology, and medicine, as well as on computational methods for the analysis of complex biological and medical data. Through his membership, Prof. Heider will help shape the professional work and scientific exchange in the field of medical bioinformatics and systems biology within the GMDS. Furthermore, his election further strengthens the networking of our institute within the scientific community of this research area.
