This question was at the heart of Prof. Dominik Heider's presentation, "AI in Antimicrobial Resistance and Infectious Disease Control," delivered at the CoSyBio Summer School 2026, which took place in Hamburg from June 30 to July 2, 2026. As Head of our Institute, Prof. Heider presented innovative AI-based approaches that support research on antimicrobial resistance and open up new perspectives for the prevention, diagnosis, and control of infectious diseases. His talk highlighted the potential of data-driven methods to advance modern biomedical research.
