HEPINIB event: 30th Symposium on Glycosaminoglycans at Villa Vigoni, Italy

The 30th edition of the annual Symposium on Glycosaminoglycans, in 2023, will be organized by three members of the HEPINIB board: Dres. Antonella Bisio and Marco Guerrini (Istituto di Ricerche Chimiche e Biochimiche ”G. Ronzoni”, Milan), Gerd Bendas (University of Bonn) and coordinator Martin Götte (University of Münster) are hosting the internationally renowned meeting at Lago di Como in Italy. The meeting will receive funding by the EU as part of the HEPINIB project. This year, among the topics covered there will be the heparanase inhibitors, the role of glycosaminoglycans in viral infections and in malignancy, and the advances in analytical approaches. Moreover, also biosynthetic aspects, structural characterization and protein interactions, biological functions, pharmaceutical and clinical aspects will be covered.
