TRENDO paves the way for a major endometriosis project

Coordinator Martin Götte is part of Germany's national research focus on the "Pathomechanisms of Endometriosis", which is funding five collaborative projects with a total of 22 million euros. The aim of the funding is to improve understanding of the connection between endometriosis and its accompanying symptoms, such as infertility and pain, as well as the influence of nutrition and the immune system on the disease. Professor Götte's research group plays a pivotal role in the ENDOFERT and ENDO-PAIN projects. This significant advancement in the in-depth study of the disease was made possible by the preliminary work conducted in the EU-funded TRENDO and MOMENDO projects.
