Curriculum vitae
I studied medical biotechnology at the University of Florence.

While studying for my master’s degree I spent 6 months with the ERASMUS program in Professor Albrecht Schwab’s Lab in Münster; my master’s thesis was about the role of sodium transporters for neutrophil chemotaxis.

After my master’s degree in July 2019 I became part of the Marie Sklodowska Curie Innovative Training Network pHioniC and I joined professor Albrecht Schwab’s group as a PhD student.

My work is focused on the modulation of pressure sensing of pancreatic stellate cells by pancreatic pH in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
