From Sample to Sequence: Automated Sample Preparation in Next Generation Sequencing

Die Poliklinik für Parodontologie des Universitätsklinikums Münster lädt zu einem Seminartag ein, der sich mit den aktuellsten Trend der bildgebenden Verfahren im Bereich des DNA-Sequencing beschäftigt.

Current Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows have numerous manual processes that bottleneck throughput and contribute to process inefficiency. Caliper Life Sciences has developed a broad suite of solutions that have been specifically designed to precisely automate all steps of library creation, sample analysis, and fractionation:
  1. The LabChip XT fractionation system performs fast, automated nucleic acid sizing accurately and reproducibly;
  2. The LabChip GX is a high throughput bioanalyzer and can be utilized to perform sample quantification and fragment distribution analysis to further ensuring high-quality library creation and
  3. The Sciclone G3 NGS Workstation is an ideal solution for end-to-end library construction, including enzymatic reactions and magnetic bead based purification.
This seminar will introduce into the different systems and show how they are used for automated sample preparation in NGS.
