Socializing at the Gordon conference

Several members of the GLYCANC consortium participated actively in the prestigious Gordon Research Conference on Proteoglycans (July 8-13, 2018) in Andover, NH, USA. Apart from GLYCANC coordinator Martin Götte, who served as discussion leader in the “Proteoglycans and Cancer” session, members of the Patras, Varese, Uppsala and Buenos Aires teams presented their latest results on the role of Proteoglycans in cancer progression, diagnostics and therapy. Highlights included presentations by the former GLYCANC secondees Argyris Spyrou (Uppsala University/Sweden), Daiana Vitale (CONICET-UNNOBA/Buenos Aires), and Ilaria Caon (Universitá d’Insubria, Varese/Italy).
