Project
My PhD project addresses post-translational modifications of the influenza A Virus polymerase. I am investigating the influence of site-specific ubiquitination on the function, localization and conformation of the polymerase complex.
Methods
Mass spectrometry, cell culture, cloning, generation of recombinant viruses, knockdown, reporter-based assays, immune fluorescence analyses, immune precipitation, western blotting, protein structure analyses, BSL3. Software: PyMOL, ChimeraX, Fiji-ImageJ
