The Comittee on Equality and Career Support of the German Society of Immunology is launching a lecture series "Lady Mary Montagu Lecture Series" this year, featuring excellent female immunologists. These women will talk about their exciting research and also about their experiences in their careers as women in science.

The lecture series will begin with the film 'Picture a Scientist'. This documentary from 2020, highlights the gender inequality in science. Touching, surprising and perhaps upsetting, it tells of the real-life experiences of women in science labs.
