As part of the DFG-funded clinical research group "Male Germ Cells: from Genes to Function", we are working together with six other clinics and facilities of the University of Münster to investigate the causes of male infertility. The aim is to halve the number of men without diagnosis for their infertility. In collaboration with the Institute of Human Genetics, genetic differences and their effects on fertility will be investigated using bioinformatics methods. A workflow for integrated analysis of OMICs data is to be implemented.
