This hands-on workshop is aimed at researchers who want to strengthen their skills in research data management (RDM). Good data management practices make imaging data findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable – in line with the FAIR principles.

•    Introduction to research data management (with a focus on microscopy data)
•    Best practices for data organisation & documentation
•    FAIR principles and their application in imaging research
•    Hands-on session: Getting started with OMERO – uploading, annotating, and managing imaging data
•   What, how, and why to annotate? Introduction to REMBI and ontology-based metadata using OMERO
