Ernennung von Professorin Bettina Pfleiderer zum Ehrenmitglied des Weltärztinnenbundes auf dem Kongress zur Hundertjahrfeier in New York
Die 3-jährige Präsidentschaft von Frau Professorin Bettina Pfleiderer fand beim Kongress zum 100-jährigen Bestehen des Weltärztinnenbundes (Medical Women International Association, kurz MWIA) vom 25.-28. Juli 2019 in New York einen krönenden Abschluss. Viel Anerkennung und Lob erhielt Frau Pfleiderer für ihren immerwährenden Einsatz während ihrer 3-jährigen Amtszeit und wurde als Ehrenmitglied der MWIA ausgezeichnet. Doch Ausruhen kommt für Bettina Pfleiderer nicht in Frage. So wird sie die jetzige Präsidentin, Dr. Clarissa Fabre,währendder nächsten 3 Jahre als Mitglied des Exekutiv-Kommittees (Immediate Past President) von 2019-2022 mit Rat zur Seite stehen. Sie ist zudem Vorsitzende des Finanzausschusses der MWIA, MWIA-Repräsentantin im Ausschuss der europäischen Ärztinnen und Ärzte (CPME) und MWIA-Repräsentantin der Europäischen Frauenlobby als Vorstandsmitglied.

The 3-year presidency of Professor Bettina Pfleiderer found a grand finale at the Centennial Congress of the Medical Women International Association (MWIA) from 25.-28. July 2019 in New York. Much appreciation and praise was given to Ms. Pfleiderer for her perpetual commitment during her 3-year tenure and she was awarded honorary membership of MWIA. But resting is out of the question for Bettina Pfleiderer. So she will support the current President, Clarissa Fabre, during her three-year tenure as "Immediate Past President" from 2019-2022. She is also a member of the Executive-Committee, chair of the MWIA Finance Committee, MWIA Representative at the Committee of European Physicians (CPME) and MWIA Representative of the European Women's Lobby as Board Member.
